Snowy Day

We got some lovely snow a couple of days ago. The next day was bright and sunny, so I decided I had to go out and get a few pictures. There aren’t many, because I was hurrying to take them between school, lunch, and work. But I had fun! Enjoy!

My little brother built this bird feeder with my dad.
Do you think we have enough wood for the rest of the winter? 😊

God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. – Job 37:5-6

I love the texture and lighting in this one.
The repeating lines make this one interesting to me.
Same with this one!
Look at our poor cold chickens! The subject, Sunny, is molting right now, so she looks a little rough. 🐔
Our paths are well-traveled!

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. – Isaiah 55:10-11

This brave plant is putting out new growth in the single digits!

Which was your favorite?

How much snow have you had?

  1. I love your photo posts! So glad you got to get out and do something you enjoy. My favorite is the shot of Sunny – love the way you framed her, and Speck’s breast feathers in the upper left corner add additional interest.
