My mom came up with this amazing recipe not too long ago! It really tastes like a rich chocolate shake, only it’s much better for you. 😋
This makes a single 14-16 ounce serving, and you can change up any ingredients to better suit your taste.
Handful of ice cubes
1/2 to whole frozen banana, sliced
Tablespoon of peanut butter
Tablespoon of sweetener (anything from refined white sugar to maple syrup, whatever you have on hand)
Heaping tablespoon of cocoa/cacao powder
Tablespoon of flaxseed
1 raw egg (sounds gross, but adds a wonderful creamyness)
Dash of cinnamon, ginger, and salt
Cover other ingredients with milk (we use part almond, part whole cow’s milk)
I made some tonight for my dad and I, and we both really enjoyed! It was so good! 👍😍
